Intentions

Feel free to check out my recipes page, Veganity: Recipes in which I discuss vegan food, or my other blogspace, The Laurinverse, which is more of a general what’s-going-on-in-my-daily-life sorta blog.

I’m ready to change the world. Well, my world at least.

In general, I am a very optimistic person. So, it is my optimistic hope that this website/blog will be an outlet in which I can inform others as to my beliefs and why I hold them, and hopefully change some peoples’ minds in the process.

In a nutshell, I am a vegan. And in my opinion (and the opinions of a veritable shit-ton of experts on the matter) it would be in the best interest of every sentient being on the planet if all humans adopted a vegan lifestyle.

I intend to provide a discussion of a range of topics pertaining to veganism, or as I call it, veganity, generally arguing in its favor (because, duh, *I’m* a vegan). But I also intend for my arguments to attempt an objective look and not be too biased or vegan-gelical. I want to change peoples’ minds, not drive them away!

I welcome any questions, comments or concerns, so feel free to leave me one. Just please don’t be nasty, cause that’s not nice.

  1. Hi,
I like your website-blog a lot. It’s pretty new, huh? I am a vegetarian but your cv encouraged me to go further :-) I am curious about the recipes that will appear here :-)

I would like to set a link of your website on ours if that is ok with you. There is an (not so professional) english version of our website available.

Basically our website was designed for my sister in law (Kathi) who is an engaged vegan and converted me at least to become a vegetarian :-) We gave the site to her as a christmas surprise. She wrote the vegan guide that you can find in the right column and created a book with more than 1650 vegan food products and its nutritional values. Maybe we will also translate it into English. Until now, you can use “Product Search” only with German words…

    However, let’s “hyperlink” each other…

    Cheers
    Stef
